After witnessing the work performed by this company on a family member's hot water line, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. After suggesting that a new line be run over a shorter distance and tied in close to where the original line was leaking, they proceeded to make a much longer run and made the tie-in in a totally different spot. This was done for $4000+, (yes, you read that correctly), and resulted in one bathroom being basically unusable due to insufficient hot water. After over a week, they made a new tie-in where it was originally suggested, and lo-and-behold, everything returned to normal. One can only imagine that they chose the original, longer, more time consuming route to justify the outrageous cost. I can only suggest that you find another company for your plumbing needs. And pay no attention to Mr. Smith's reply. Even after flushing the system of sediment, it still didn't work properly, and didn't do so until the tie-in was done as suggested. Of course, consider the source. American Plumbing seems set on delivering one star sevice. But of course, he is more than happy to charge a five star price for his disservice. Again, save yourselves, and your pocketbooks the trouble, and find a knowledgeable, ethical company to deal with. And by the way, Mr. Smith, quit playing the victim when confronted by unhappy customers. Own up to your mistakes, learn from them, and move on.

Firstly, to leave an elderly woman without hot water with low temps reaching 25° is disgraceful. To blatantly ignore advice that would have remedied the situation the first time is disgraceful. But to have the inexplicable audacity to give a sarcastic, dimwitted reply when someone publicly reviews your deplorable service brings it to an entirely new level. Never once did a manager come to the job site. Never once was a true, meaningful apology given to the homeowner. He left his employees to screw somebody out of $4000 while offering no professional knowledge. There are holes in walls and ceiling tiles down, all because American Plumbing refused to take advice that would have fixed the situation in the first place. And here's a piece of advice to you, American Plumbing: when you mess something up this badly, you don't make the customer wait for a resolution. You make it happen right then, and you come out day after day until you make it right. I hope you sleep well at night knowing this is what you do -- you take money from innocent people for a service you don't even know how to provide. So go ahead and leave your snarky comment, I don't care. You are a disgrace, and you give plumbers a bad name. Your 2.7 stars on Yelp says it all. I'm amazed it isn't lower. I wonder what the BBB would have to say about all this... And before you say it, I don’t “thrive on giving one star reviews,” so come up with something better. Response: You are not being harassed, you are being publicly shamed for deplorable service. If you can’t take the heat, you should simply do better. Go ahead and make your report, I’m undisturbed. All you have done is highlight the kind of interactions you will have with your customers when something goes wrong. Instead of resolving situations, you put up barriers, become defensive, and attempt to manipulate the situation to make yourself seem like the victim. This is the case with all of your one star reviews. Your response made a more powerful statement that I ever could. No matter how you may see it, you have found yourself in a lose-lose situation. I can rest easy knowing I have told the truth; can you?

Today my husband and I had Seth and Logan at our home for various repairs. Seth and Logan were respectful, were very knowledgeable and time efficient. Seth and Logan cleaned the area where they were working after the Lu had finished. I look forward to having them back when We need further work done. Thank you American Plumbing!

My Dad had an odor of gas whenever his generator was running. I called American Plumbing. Seth and Logan came out to check for us. They were very pleasant and knowledgable and respectful. They explained what they did to evaluate issue . They informed us that the gas line was not the problem and that we needed to get generator serviced. Great service from a great company

I called American Plumbing after reading reviews online and seeing one that almost exactly fit my predicament with a gas hot water heater and how it was handled by employees Seth and Logan. Within a couple of hours that same day, Seth and Logan showed up at my house and diagnosed my problem - problems, I should say. They gave me my options to repair and also to replace and provided costs. Seth and Logan were courteous, respectful and answered all my questions as they were taking out my old heater and replacing with a new one as they worked - with me hovering and watching them perform their jobs. They knew what they were doing and cleaned up after themselves when finished. I am very satisfied with the work performed by American Plumbing and employees Seth and Logan and their professionalism throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend American Plumbing to anyone needing professional plumbing services.

Terry was awesome, he came out to run a camera to figure out what was causing a clog but graciously didn’t charge me because he’s seen our situation before, he gave me a recommendation to get with the city to fix the problem and quoted me if they weren’t able to fix the problem and his assumption wound up getting our problem fixed in less than an hour. City came and got the clog undone and had further testing done to make sure there wasn’t anymore issues on their side of the sewer! Thank you Mr Terry for saving us time and money! 5 stars from me, super knowledgeable plumbers at American Plumbing!
